The combination of these two contrasting colors make the lay-out better. It appears to be neater with the organized sections of the features like Our Video Database and Our Picture Database. Links makes your site's navigation more convenient since you don't have to go all over the pages, looking for your favorite feature. Picture and video thumbs also serve as the short-cut for its gallery.
Since the site name is called zoomovies, it is clear that the site's main feature is the videos. Now I was really impressed with its content.
